I have a problem with the setup of our DB2 LUW HADR system using the Netbackup agent for log archiving.
The server pair has multiple instances and databases which can run primary on either of the 2 servers.
The problem is when one of the databases fall behind in applying the logs and the HADR state is remote catch up pending. When the log files get archived on the primary, the hadr catch up nearly always fails as the restore from netbackup takes a while.
Is there any way to exploit the local catchup pending, ie. Having the archived log files available on the standby server too via netbackup.
