Netbackup and BE tape support

Does 8 still support the ability to restore tapes from Backup Exec? If so, which versions? I have seen that nothing newer than BE12 (is this the same as BE2012?), and that the feature to restore from BE was being discontinued after 7. If that is true I likely need to keep a customer on BE in the future.

If I recall this was dropped after 7.6

There are no plans to improve or expand coverage beyond the current capabilities, nor support any images after Backup Exec 12.  (There is no support for Backup Exec 12.5 images or later image versions.)

NetBackup 7.6 will be the last release to support BETR functionality.
