You are a man of few words.... What exactly do you need to know? What about Client installation? What about server names? Client installation instructions can be found in NBU Installation Guide. Links to manuals in Handy NBU Links in my signature.

Thanks Marianne.

I was posted all information on another forum. But there I couldn't see that information. ( I tried three times) and this is fourth time and I can see this question in Netbackup forum.

Okay.

Master/Media are in solaris 5.10 and NBU 7.5.0.6

Client : Linux 2.16 NBU 6.5.6

Current space on client is /usr/openv is only 3 GB space is there. But I want upgrade the client to NBU 7.5.0.6. But I asked to sys admin to provide more space for update the NBU. Sys admin give another volume ( /ora/temp---- 43 GB). Can you please confirm, whether I can upgrade the NBU on that folder.?

.

Thanks for your help.

2 ways: 1) Move openv folder in /usr to new filesystem and create symbolic link in /usr to point to new openv folder. 2) Uninstall NBU on client and re-install in new filesystem, followed by patch installation.
