Netbackup cloud support for Solaris

Hi,

We need to develop a solution with NBU cloud in Solaris 11 OS. 

Can any one please let me know is Netbackup 7.7.1/7.7.1 is supported on Solaris 11 ?

Hi Satya,

The latest version of NetBackup is 7.7.3, so I would go for that rather than 7.7.1.

NetBackup 7.7.x is supported on Oracle Solaris 11.  Below is a link to the Veritas NetBackup Software Compatibility List for 7.7 - 7.7.x.  The link should take you right to the section for NetBackup Server on Solaris.

You don't say if you are running SPARC or x86-64 hardware, so note that there a couple of footnotes that you should check for your environment.
