Netbackup disaster recovery mail_dr_info.sh

Hi,

someone may tell me if exist an equivalent of "mail_dr_info" on master server with DR info,  like mail, but present on master?

I would collect mail_dr_info on a file and send it to other server repository.

Hi,

For Master server Disaster Recovery, on catalog backup configuration it's possible insert email address in order to receive that information. So, my question is:

There is a place on Netbackuo master server that contain the DR informartion like that present on mail?

I woul collect DR info in a file and transfer it on other server for security.

I hope my english a little bit clear.

Hi,

Can you confirm what is OS for Master Server ? Windows OR Linux / UNIX ?

If its windows, consider to configure blat utility and get the dr file info on email. Here is the article for BLAT utility configuration

If its UNIX / Linux, have a sendmail server configured on it and then you should be able to email DR file info on email.

master server is a LInux RedHat. I know that email on catalog backup configuration it's ok, we already receive it, but my question was if the same DR information into email, are also present in some file/directory on Master server.

Hey

On third tab in NBU-catalog policy type there is a property named "Path" - it is a path where NBU will save DR info.
