Netbackup upgrade from 7.5.0.6 to 7.6.0.1

One of the steps in the upgrade plan is to disable SLP's. I plan on deactivating all policie and we will not have any jobs running during the upgrade so is it nesassary to disable all SLP's? if yes, can i use the suspend option in the admin console for each SLP?

Remember that SLP duplications will keep on trying to duplicate backups that have failed in the past.

I am not aware of a GUI option to suspend SLPs.

Use cmd:

nbstlutil inactive

You can use GUI too: select one or more SLP's then right click and select "Suspend" :
