please help I  made a full backup , now i need to restore data to a  new server but i get the following error when i perform restore

You need to install client software on the new server and add the new server as client on the policy which you have taken the backup. This works for me well...

Do you have NB client installed on the destination server?
It does NOT have to be in a policy, it just need to have the software installed and have the master in its server list, and the media server in its media server list.
