Veritas Education Services is in the process of updating all the Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) high-stakes certification exams. I’m very excited to announce that the first two exams available for registration are the VCS-282: Veritas NetBackup 9.1 Administrator and the VCS-283: Veritas NetBackup 9.1 and NetBackup Appliance 4.1 Administrator exams.
These exams are designed to target candidates in an administrative role and measure competencies of core elements such as configuration, product administration, day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting (diagnosis and/or repair). Upon passing either of these exams, you’ll receive your associated certification and your digital badge that is awarded through our partner company, Credly. This award counts toward the requirements for your Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) certification in Data Protection.

In addition, we created a Sample Exam that shows you the types of questions you’ll see on the exam and provides you with practice. You’ll also find an Exam Preparation Guide that matches the exam objectives to courseware and other documentation that you can study to prepare for passing the exam.
