Thanks for Storage Unit info.

We need device config as well.

Which media server / storage unit is having the problem with tape drives?
Is the other one working fine?

We can see that you have 2 media servers:

dcbackupsvrph
dc-ems-av01

Please show device config details for problematic media server:

Open cmd on media server with 'Run as Administrator'.
From <install-path>\Veritas\volmgr\bin run:
tpconfig -l
vmoprcmd -d
