Not all data is backup (6.5) Unix

I have make a manual backup of one of my servers, showing that is is 100% completed, now when I trying to restore, it shows that one of the folders is empty, but there are files in this folder.  The /sapmnt when backup only shows 32kb in size and that is not correct.

See Screenshots..

0.png show the folder in Unix with files

1.png shows all folders on Server

2.png shows there is no files in the folder /sapmnt

3.png shows all the folders to be backup in netbackup

4.png, 5.png and 6.png just shows reports on this

This is also showing on other pollicis as well

Just noticed at the bottom of the log:

"/sapmnt/RD1 is on filesystem type lofs - skipping"

- seems like you'll need 'follow NFS"?

EDIT:

There's also something similar relating to Oracle/SAP agent backups, but fixed in 6.5:

As a first step, try changing your backup selection to /sapmnt/RD1 - i.e. the actual filesystem you want to backup as opposed to the folder /sapmnt within the root filesystem.

Altho' I can't see it erroring with the "TRV....skipping" error you can see for some of the other filesystems, it looks like it is only backing up the mount-point & not crossing filesystem boundaries to backup the contents....(as you presumably do not have cross mount points selected in your policy, which would cause 'issues' if enabled with your other backup selections)

I did try /sapmnt/RD1, but sill only gets 32kb of backup

Does this client has exclude list?

what is the content of exclude list, does it have above paths listed...?

also show us the ls -l for the directories listed in policy.

I did make a test policy just for /sapmnt/RD1 with follow NFS and it worked,  can I use this in my normal poicy, will it then backup the other data folders as well.

I *think* you *should* be ok - unless you have some other NFS/lofs mounts that may be covered by your other backup selections - but then you haven't got cross mount points selected so that probably won't be an issue anyway.
