Old email alert keep on coming even there is no more error on NetBackup 7.7.1

Hi All,

My company running NetBackup 7.7.1 on RHEL 61. I setup the email to send alert on "Host Properties -> Master Servers -> 'servers'-> Properties -> Global Attributes -> 'Administrator email address: 'and our mail' "

The problem it also kept on sending the old alert, the one that not even on the Activity Monitor (we just keep the log for 5 days).

So where it is coming from? How to fix it.

Thank you. ,

Iwan

Check all the places that I have suggested on Friday.
Also look for evidence of failed 1st backup attempt with successful 2nd attempt.

What kind of alert?

Sure this is not your mail server?

Have you checked NBU logs for evidence of when email was sent?
e.g. All Log Entries, nbpem logs, bpbrm logs, timestamps on *notify* output files?

Hi All,

Thank you for all the reply. I attach the examples of the today mail (11/07)  saying that server vmbiztalkpt1 has backup error  the error 13. But if you check the Activity Monitor there is no error at least since 10/31.
