OpenVMS backup on an Alpha server

Bakinup
Level 4
Is there a product(new or old)  or agent that will back up VMS on an alpha server. These machines must be maintained for a while longer. Tape drives are a constant battle to keep running.
There are a few agents running on VMS here but I can't seem to find the product anymore.

DOCUMENTATION: Does Veritas NetBackup (tm) have a client for OpenVMS?
http://support.veritas.com/docs/263497

Details:
Manuals:
Veritas NetBackup (tm) 4.5 User's Guide for OpenVMS
Veritas NetBackup (tm) 5.0 User's Guide for OpenVMS
Veritas NetBackup (tm) 6.0 User's Guide for OpenVMS
Veritas NetBackup (tm) 6.5 User's Guide for OpenVMS

Modification Type: Supplement

Modification:
Veritas NetBackup supports backups and restores to OpenVMS clients. A listing of supported platforms will appear on page 1-1 of the appropriate user's guide for OpenVMS.

The following site is an important resource for client install and setup:
ftp://ftp.emea.support.veritas.com/pub/support/Products/NetBackup_OpenVMS/

This is an anonymous FTP site which can be accessed with your Web browser. It is suggested to download the latest OpenVMS User's Guide (PDF) at this site as well as the latest maintenance pack version/release update.

The manual includes the following resources:

A chapter focusing on installs
A chapter focusing on setup
Listing of bugs fixed and added features are listed
Listing of supported VMS OS's

The following notes apply to the various maintenance pack (MP) releases (starting in 6.5, release updates) for the OpenVMS client software:

These maintenance packs can only be applied to an existing CDROM installation. See Chapter 2 of the User's Guide for OpenVMS for MP installation instructions
The initial CDROM installation only needs to be done once.
The latest MP version of the client software is cumulative, meaning it contains all the fixes from the previous versions. This means an OpenVMS client running NetBackup 6.0 (for example) can be upgraded directly to NetBackup 6.0 Maintenance Pack 5 (MP5) by downloading and installing the NB_VMS_60_5_M update, even if 6.0 MP1, MP2, MP3 and MP4 have not been previously applied.
The NetBackup for OpenVMS installation CDROM is compatible with a NetBackup master or media server running any maintenance pack level of the same release.
For example, an OpenVMS client running NetBackup 5.0 MP8 will be compatible with any NetBackup 5.0 or 5.1 master or media server no matter which maintenance packs are applied. (Note: There was no NetBackup 5.1 client for OpenVMS; the 5.0 client is used instead.)
Another example: An OpenVMS client running the NetBackup 6.5.1 release update (NB_VMS_65_1) will be compatible with any 6.5 or 6.5.1 master or media server.
It is considered best practice to always download and install the latest maintenance pack or release update for OpenVMS clients.

There is certainly an OpenVMS client for NetBackup.  It's available for VAX, AlphaServer and Itaniums servers.  It's works just like a standard Unix client; you would need to purchases the full client client; updates are available from the standard support website but you need the full kit first.  Current version is v6.5.3.

It's pretty easy to work with; I have over 60 servers including large VMS clusters being backed up over gigabit network links to my Solaris and Linux media servers.
