Oracle RMAN crosscheck issue with NetBackup

Hi everyone,

We have some problem with the expire of some Oracle backups from RMAN, because during crosscheck with NetBackup RMAN finds the backups, but if i query the NetBackup catalog, that images have been expired

Honestly I think that the issue is on RMAN and the only thing I can do is to search for backups in the NetBackup catalog to see if they exist or not.

Do you think I can do some kind of troubleshooting on NetBackup?

Client - NetBackup-RedHat2.6.18 7.7.1
Master\Media - NetBackup 8.1.2 Windows 2012

The RMAN crosscheck with NetBackup can only query the NetBackup catalog.
Or maybe you mean the RMAN catalog? Not NetBackup?

According to the Oracle team, there was an issue with RMAN
