Hi all,

on oracle 12 ist now possible with:

RMAN> delete backuppiece "XYZ“;

DELETE OBSOLETE REDUNDANCY = x;

DELETE OBSOLETE RECOVERY WINDOW OF x DAYS;

really to delete all images after x day on the Masterserver.

on the client dbclient.log  I read nbdelete backup_id  but on the master server I see clean image job without any information about the client that executed rman process.

It's possible to restrict the client delete image? and in which Master/Media logs can I read which client have executed  nbdelete or clean images?

I know that I have encouraged you to start a new discussion, but my response remains the same as over here:

Updated URLs to the TNs that I have mentioned:

Any requests from a client to NBU master normally goes to bprd process.

I would look firstly in the bprd log on the master server.
If the log folder does not exist, create it and restart NBU to enable the log.
