Oracle backups fail with status code: 5402

Problem Oracle backups fail with status code: 540

OS Authentication error - Could not connect to the database. Please check the OS credentials. 

Sitaution is very strange, I have updated correct passwords and to verify archive log backup processed sucessfully. However database backup fails. 

I have two policies , one for Archive logs and other of Database. Same instance. 

Please help.

For which OS this backup do fail? Windows or Linux? What is the version of NBU. Are you using OIP or just Oracle policy type in standard way?

Please provide policy, script details. Who calls this policy? NBU scheduler or it is user directed backup?
