Please Advice about Vshpere version 5.5

Dears,

I have windows master server version 7.5.0.6,and i'm in process to upgrdae it to 7.6.0.1,also i have Vshpere version 5.5

my question is can i take VM backup once i upgrade the master server to 7.6.0.1?

My status now i can't take any VMbackup cause my netbackup is 7.5.0.6,so please advice.

Upgrade to 7.6.0.1, followed by installing 7.6.0.2 patch that supports vSphere 5.5.
