Hello,

I saw a thread with this error being resolved. ( https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/help-me-fix-error-130 ) However, there's a slight difference with the error from that one with the error I am getting..

I have this particular message and I can't find anything in google about it.

FTL - terminated by signal 12

Backup was fine 2 days back. It just started over the weekend. Please share some ideas. Sorry I couldn't provide much logs as I only have access on the JAVA GUI.

Appreciate any suggestions or ideas you can share.

I agree with Riaan - status 130 is normally associated with specific OS and NBU version.

Please also enable bpbkar log on client (create log dir under netbackup/logs).

Hi,

You'll need to tell us the versions (O/S and NetBackup) of master, media and client.

Honestly, if you cant provide logs this could be difficult.

bpbrm ... terminated by signal 12

Please post bpbrm on master/media server as well as bpbkar on client.

(Please post as attachment)

Any particular reason why you haven't upgraded your clients yet?

Hi,

Please do, you'll understand there are many processes involved in the backup, but to get to the source of the problem, we have to start on the client.
