Policy deletion

Hi,

   Is there any issue while i am restoring a database(Sql/Oracle) or Exchange db or  VMWare image if i delete the original policies from netbackup that it backed up.

I have a plan to do some hosue keeping so going to delete some old policies which was using earlier. I tried it for filesystem backups and found without the original policy i am able to restore but not sure about the database restore.

There is no need for a policy to exist in order to restore data.

The only requirement is a valid, unexpired image in the catalog.
