Preventing Policy deletion

Hi,

My collegue deleted one policy unintentionally, neither me nor him has the idea of this,

can we prevent this kind of unintentional deletion of policies.

Please help.

If you have the authority to create/amend policies you also have the authority to delete them.

Have fallen foul of this myself on a few occasions - deleting a policy instead of just a client within that policy just before you go home ....... ........

You can, however, restore from the catalog (~/netbackup/db/class directory) - wish I'd known about that one sooner
