Hello,

the error is pretty self-explaining. You did not change/add new hostname to the appropriate NetBackup Oracle policy.

regards

Michal

Dear Michal

Thanks for your swift response,

The hostname's been already added to a policy with the same hostname, please check below resulte from client

root@mccdr # ./bpclntcmd -self

gethostname() returned: mccdr
host mccdr: mccdr at 192.168.199.20
aliases:     mccdr     192.168.199.20
getfqdn(mccdr) returned: mccdr.mobilecom.jo
root@mccdr # ./bpclntcmd -pn
expecting response from server mcmp
mccdr mccdr 192.168.199.20 63881

Dear Michal

Thanks a lot, it's my mistake the hostname in the policy was in capital letters :)
