Hi Everyone,
I have an isue where one of my RMAN backups does not run. We have an RMAN script configuired to backup an Oracle database.
The job errors out with an error 6. When I check the RMAN logfile there is no input in the log. It is as if the script never started. I see the following info on the NetBackup side.
I had our DBA Team check the RMAN script as they are responsible for that and they did not see anything. Any help would be much apreaciated.

Error bpbrm(pid=5696) from client golden103: ERR - Script exited with status = 2
means that the script called from NetBackup is failing with status 2
As always try to run the script in a prompt

Hello
Should be great if you can share some info like Oracle version , NBU version, etc
Other important thing will be if this backup has been executed in the past without problems? do you know about any change in the Oracle?
Have you enabled the bphdb in the Oracle client? if not please do it and test the backup again and send the logs
Thanks in advance

This issue has been resolved. The problem was there were a couple of lines missing in the RMAN script that our DBA Team owned.
Once I had them take a look there were able to fix this issue.
Thanks everyone for all the sugustions.

Michael was the one who pointed out an issue with the script:
