I have some registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_KEY/Software/Veritas/Netbackup/CurrentVersion/Paths that state the following
_ps REG_SZ \\
DATABASE_PATH REG_SZ G:${_ps}Netbackup_data${_ps}${_ps}Netbackup${_ps}db which if read literally says
G:\\Netbackup_data\\\\Netbackup\\db
Am I reading this correctly ? or is there some rule that I am overlooking ?

This one covers that there must be double slashes with most things on the registry:

As the others have mentioned it would be nice to know why you need the information and if you are planning to move something?

So actual path is G:\Netbackup_data\\Netbackup\db.

Why are you looking at this? What are you trying to achieve?
The doubles slashes are normal as Yasuhisa stated.
