Hi Dear Community,
there is a frozen tape. l wanted to delete the frozen tape (000002) from netbackup.
l did the command bpexpdate -m 000002-d 0 -force.
after the command l delete the tape.but the tape in tape library.Also NBU doesn't show the frozen tape.
What do l need to do eject the frozen tape from Tape library?

Yes - NBU will not physically do it for you...
If you cant remove it - create a new volume pool, call it frozen_tapes and move it there - it will not be used...

Frozen and suspended tapes might have images associated with them and would still be assigned. Deleting the tape in this situation could cause a catalog inconsistency.
If you no longer need the tape (and associated data) first UNFREEZE the tape and run bpexpdate -m XXXXX -d 0 -force
Once the media is unassigned you should be able to delete it worry free.

you can use the robtest utility to move the tape from the slot into the cab/map port and get it off the robot.
