Removing Backup Exec

We presently have backup exec on a server. We want to uninstall that and reinstall with Netbackup. Is it mandatory to reboot the server before we can install and function with Netbackup?

After uninstalling Backup Exec you will have to reboot server. BE services will not be removed

untill server is restarted.
