Replication/duplication with Catalyst CoFC

Hello Everyone :)

I am working on NBU 8.0, I want to replicate/duplicate data from primary catalyst Store to secondary catalyst store for that I performed following Steps

1. Created Stores on two StoreOnce
• StoreOnce1 : ABC (Primary Store)
• StoreOnce2 : XYZ (Secondary Store)

2. Created Storage Server for both StoreOnce using FC identifier alias (CoFC)

3. Created 'Disk Pools' and 'Storage Units' for both StoreOnce

4. Created Storage Lifecycle Policy (SLP) where I defined Backup as Primary store and Duplication as Secondary Store.

6. Created Policy and mentioned SLP Policy as Storage Policy and performed Manual Backup.

backup went good but replication/duplication didn't worked. I did same thing with CoE and it works, So is there any additional steps need to perform ? please let me know if anyone knows.

Could you share job details of the failed job and SLP settings?

Have you checked the HCL?

Seems Fibre Channel supports only AIR (Replication between Media servers with different Masters), not Opt_Dup (duplication in same environment).

Ethernet supports AIR and Opt_Dup.

I have gone through the HCL document and what I understood is: Fibre Channel does not support Opt_Dup with following environment/devices:
NBU 8.0 with Media server HP-UX 11.31
StoreOnce 4000
Plugin:4.0
Data Interface: Fibre Channel 

Could you please confirm as I am verifying this first time ?

Correct. Opt_Dup does not seem to be supported with FC and any combination of model, plug-in or OS within the same domain.

FC is only supported with AIR (replication between different NBU domains (masters) )
