Hi All,
We have upgraded the Exchange server to 2010 and we want to restore some old mailbox of Exchange 2007, but it was failing.
Is there any possibility to restore the Exchange 2007 mailbox to 2010.
If not, is there any alternative to restore the mailbox.

I dont think you will be able to .. however if you can setup a test exchange 2007 box then you could
1. Create a new Temporary Mailbox on Exchange 2007
2. Recovery the mailbox to this new Temp Mailbox with Restore-Mailbox (see example below)
3. Move the Temp Mailbox to Exchange 2010
4. Give the org mailbox owner full mailbox access on the Temp Mailbox.
5. The Org User can now move the message he/she needs to the ORG Mailbox
6. When done, delete the temp mailbox.
In the below example, the newly created temp mailbox is called "TMP_mailbox1" and the ORG (Exchange 2010 Mailbox/User is called "Mailbox1"
Example:
Restore-Mailbox -RSGMailbox "TMP_Mailbox1" -RSGDatabase 'RSG\Mailbox Database' -id "Mailbox1" -TargetFolder "Recovered Mail'
