Restore History

Hello,

Hoping this is landing in correct place...first time using this forum....

Can anyone tell me if there is a log or other historical tracking mechanism that would reflect the actual Destination path that was used for a restore.  I can see the 'source' path in the bptm log, but I need to see the full re-directed "Destination" path of where the files were restored to.

As well, is there a way to see a history of restore requests?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Product:  NetBackup 6.5.5
OS:  Windows 2003 Enterprise R2

Thanks,
Linda

You can do the view from the BAR and see the log for the restore.

Or

on the windows server that where you ran the BAR go to

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\user_ops\<user_who_did_restore\logs

this will also have the log... but by default these are only kept for a few days before they are cleaned up.

this log will give you all the info.  If the destination dir was different from the source dir it should say that it put it in a different dir.
