Hi,

I take a full oracle database backup every day and archived logs backups every hour.

I need to restore database and archived logs until 11 am.

Is there a way to restore/recover database and all archived logs from 00:00 to 11:00 am in one job I mean using one script?

Work with your dba. He/she should know how to use 'recover until ...' in rman restore script.

Best practice is not to do things you're not familiar with (especially if they are Oracle restore :) ) but if really need it:

RMAN will take care of it using "recover until" - but you will see multiple jobs in Netbackup.

Please team-up with the DBA.

Hi,

But everytime I take a backup a new control file is generated so, for example if I need to restore a bounch of archived logs I need to restore several control files as well and that is not useful.

That's a feature of Oracle.
