Restore Successful But Not Complete

CrystalHew

I've "successfully" restored several different images that didn't appear to be correct.  The server that I am attempting to restore is a virtual server with 2 disks (one vmdk is 104GB and the other is 52GB) however, the restores successfully finishes at 88GB or 95GB.  I've tried fulls and differentials but when the job is complete and I power on the server it states that no os was found.  The policy I used to back up the server is a VmWare policy with BLIB.  I've tried restoring via SAN and NBD transport modes and get the same results.  I have been able to successfully restore VmWare backups but this server is the first that I've had this issue with.  Has anyone had this issue before?

I was out and read your post from my phone. I thought that I knew the answer and post. But it was not correct so I delete my post.

Your problem is similar to a problem that has to do with SAN and the fix is to restore from NBD or HOTADD. But you said that you try NBD.
check these, may be helpfull
