Netbackup 7.1
Vshpere 5
I have no error in my backup log, everything is successfully. I had to restore a VM and the restore was succesfully. I booted up the restored VM but I've got an error "system disk error, No OS found"...
I was reading that the vsphere 5 was incompatible with netbackup 7.1 and that I should patch my Netbackup to 7.1.0.4. I patched my Netbackup and I've got the same issue...I restored the VM but no OS found...
What can I do to restore my VM and boot up succesfully?
Thank for your help

what method you use for the restore? from SAN or nbd?
If you use SAN restore, change it to nbd or hotadd

If your Media Server (VMWare backup host) is Windows 2008 then make sure the VMWare LUNS mapped to it as set as "online" (no signatures or anything like that, just online)
By default they are set as off line and will cause your error - nbd restores will work.,
If you set them as online a restore via the SAN should work

yes,yes,yes
this caused me big trouble in the past. I think that only 2008 Enterprise server has the LUNs off line. The standard server does not, but I may be wrong.
