Hi Everyone,
I need to restore a mailbox.How can I achieve that.
We are backing up the DAG.
The option granular recovery wasnt selected in the policy.
Is there any means by which I can still recover the mailbox?

yes, if GRT is not selected, Netbackup can not do the mail box & mail level restores..
has to compleated Full DB restore to recovery DB and then try restoring from there will the help of exchage admin.

Individual mailbox, not unless GRT was selected on backup. See this recent thread:

You can restore the database to alternate host and extract the mailbox there. That's what our Exchange Admins have done in such case.

Nagalla is right - Recovery DB is your only choice.
