I'm trying to restore specific mailboxes from my Exchange backups. Unfortunately, when I expand the Microsoft Exchange Database Availablility Group in BAR, all I see is the Microsoft Information Store with the MDBs listed and no way to expand that to view the mailboxes. I assume the backups were configured incorrectly, or at least not configured in such a way that allows single mailbox restores. I may be wrong.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

You can only drill down id the backup was originally done with GRT.
In the original policy was "granular recovery technology" selected ?

from the NetBackup for Exchange Admin Guide:
You can restore individual mailbox or public folder items (folders, messages, and
documents) from the following types of backups:
■ MAPI mailbox backups. This backup type applies to Exchange 2007 and earlier.
■ MAPI public folder backups. This backup type applies to Exchange 2007 and earlier.
■ Streaming or snapshot backups with Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) enabled.
It would seem the backup was not GRT enabled

No GRT enabled. I assumed that was going to be the answer. Luckily, the command decision not to backup with GRT was made by not me so someone else can take the hit.
