SAP Backup with NB

Hi,

I enountered some strange problemw with SAP backup and need advise.

I used NB integration with backint.

When I used the brbackup with util_file_online option (brbackup -d util_file_online......) , I encountered error
as "SAP alter table space failed".

However, when I use utiL_file option. It worked fine.

If I am not wrong, the uti_file_online with set individual tablespace to backup mode, perform a backup and then set the tablespace back to end backup mode then it move on to the next tablespace. As for util_file option, it will set all tabledspace to backup mode before perform the backup.

Can any tell where goes wrong ? Is this Oracle or SAP or NB problem ?

I am also expiriencing the same issues on SAP running tru64, when I edit the init(SID).utl file and the init(SID).sap files (in my case initDEV ) and try linking them all, backint returns an error everytime I use sap_online_backup.
I would appreciate if you could share with me any responses received or any known issues when interfacing backint with brbackup
