So this media is having retention level 10 while your slp 1 that is why it cant be used as this is default nbu setting - do not mix different retention levels on given media
Put more tapes to library...
If you know What u r doing u can cancel slp by executing
nbstlutil cancel -lifecycle slpname
Than retry bpexpdate

Maybe on this media there is data with different retention period than the one from SLP.

Can you please show outputs from

bpmedialist -m PR0476

nbstl SLP_name -L

bpretlevel -U

Execute Command: bpmedialist.exe -m PR0476
Server Host = NETBACKUP_MEDIASERVER01

When I try to clean the tape PR0476,  the following information appears:

Execute command: bpexpdate -m PR0476 -d 0
Media PR0476 is due to expire at 05/14/2020 19:17:28
Are you sure that the data on this media is not critical to
your business, and you are sure you want to delete PR0476 y/n (n)? y
Backup image expiration cannot be modified because its SLP processing is not yet complete

I went to the Catalog option, and there is no more media on the PR0476 tape and still do not let it expire or move to SCRATH

You have 2 valid images on this tape that will only expire on  05/14/2020 19:17.

Why do you want to expire it?

You should never expire anything just because you do not have sufficient tapes.
You need enough tapes for each retention level that you configure.

Hello Marianne

As we are testing the functions of Netbackup, we use this tape for this. The content of this is not important and I want to make sure that the tape is really empty when the SLP JOB is going to run.

Quebec

I will execute the command, because I believe after reading some messages from the system that some JOB SLP was stopped.

Thank you all. Actually, after Quebec's tip to stop the SLP, I managed to clear the data from the tape, redo the SLP and everything went well. Thank you very much.
