SLP POLICIES ARE NOT RUNNING, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE ACTIVE

Dear All,

Please i am having a challenge with my SLP policies. My backup jobs are running to disk but duplication to tape is not starting. I have been on this issue for over a week. I have 4 SLP policies apart from the one i created for the catalog. It is only the catalog SLP that runs from the disk to tape. The other 4 are not starting the duplication jobs.

I have restarted the Storage Lifecycle Policy service, i have restarted the backup servers, both the master and the media but the issue is still there steering at me in the face.

I need help please.

might be a silly question to start with but are secondary operations suspended on the SLPs?

GUI - storage - SLPs - they will have a red x on the name if it is suspended.

Did you remember to change the Storage Unit in backup policies (Attributes or in Schedules) to SLP?

Can you give us one example of a policy (bppllist <policy-name> -U) and one SLP (nbstl <slp_name> -all_versions -L) ?

Have you tried to check SLP processing list? 
nbstlutil stlilist -image_incomplete -U

All the concerns polices are active, they are not suspended.

One thing i don't understand is that Catalog SLP is running and the other ones are not.

All the scheduled jobs are pointing to different SLPs. This is not  a new setup. Everything has been running smoothly until about a week ago that the issue surfaced.

As regards nbstlutil stlilist -image_incomplete -U, i have checked the SLP processing list, there are so many jobs that showing not started. See the sample output below

The nbstl shows 'version 2' of the SLP. Are there previous versions in the output? 
When was the SLP changed recently? 

You may want to check a particular image-id for more details, e.g.
