Windows Master and Media servers, 2008r2, Netbackup 7.6.0.4
Hello all.
I have an slp that I created and when I added the step where it writes to tape, I accidentally pointed it to an hcart storage unit, rather than an hcart3. Because the tape step of the slp cannot find hcart tapes, of course, and fails with status 96. I noticed this and corrected it, and ran nbpemreq -updatepolicies, kicked off a backup, and can see in the job details that it will not let go of looking for that hcart. In short, I need that slp job to either be permanently cancelled, or forced to see the changes I've made to correct it.
I've gone through the nbstlutil commands that I can find, and it still shows these incomplete copies that I need it to stop trying to complete.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated! In our environment, it is a tremendous red-tape battle for me to stop and restart backup services, so I'm reaching out for ideas to prevent me from doing that.
Thank you.
Todd

if you would like to cancle the SLP jobs you can use the command nbstlutil
nbstlutil cancel -backupid <backupid>
if you would like to froce the images to see the new modifcations in SLP and duplicate them accroding to the modifications
you need to chage the SLP version usin the command nbstl
see the below T/N to chage the version
