SLP maximum copies

Hello Experts,

I need to know how may the below setting may affect the SLP in backup destination and Duplication.

As far as i know we can have  max 4 backup destination on a lifecycle. So how many duplication can we have on a lifecycle ?

If we increase the maximum backup copies to 6 what will happen?

'Maximum backup copies' in Master Server Host Properties -> Global attributes. (2-10)

It doesn't seem to be a practical scene. To be honest I never tried exhausting secondary operations in SLP. Best answer is to grab a test kit and try yourself adding secondary operations till it gives you any threshold warning. Do share the results if you like.

HI,

The setting dictates how many copies (duplicates) you can create. Going to sound like Grandpa now, but back in the old days we didn't have SLPs. Duplicates were created manually or via Vault.

So that is what it relates too youngens :p

Hi H_Sharma,

Marianne had the correct URL, however it looks like a couple of extraneous % characters got in there and caused it to say there were invalid parameters specified.

I've cleaned those up, so this should be the post Marianne was pointing you to:

VOX does not like it when a space creeps in at the end of the URL.

I simply removed the space:
