SQL Backup Failure No files were found in .sysfiles for filegroup GDRIVE (group id

Hi All,

 

Got below error while taking backup of SQL database, 

All Db backup happens except one with below error,

08/11/2016 02:01:08 - Info bphdb (pid=3252) Backup started
08/11/2016 02:01:10 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) WARN - No files were found in QDFC_PROD_NAV2009..sysfiles for filegroup GDRIVE (group id 3)
08/11/2016 02:01:13 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) INF - BACKUP STARTED USING

 

08/11/2016 02:25:24 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) INF - Results of executing <C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\DbExt\MsSql\Diff_Daily.bch>:
08/11/2016 02:25:24 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) <7> operations succeeded. <1> operations failed.
08/11/2016 02:25:25 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) INF - The following object(s) were not backed up successfully.
08/11/2016 02:25:25 - Info dbclient (pid=8912) INF - Dbname

08/11/2016 02:25:46 - Error bpbrm (pid=16415) from client DOHQDORY02: ERR - command failed: the requested operation was partially successful (1)
08/11/2016 02:25:46 - Error bpbrm (pid=16415) from client DOHQDORY02: ERR - bphdb exit status = 1: the requested operation was partially successful

Kindly help on this.

But first of all talk with your SQL DBA, as he/she probably will know if this file group is empty for a reason

The standard questions: Have you checked: 1) What has changed. 2) The manual 3) If there are any tech notes or VOX posts regarding the issue
