Hello All,
We have Master Server on Windows 8 R2 Version (7.5.0.7)
and client is on Windows 8 Version (7.5.0.7)
here We are facing 2 issues.
1. As I click on Netbackup Ms SQL Client it takes 15-20 minets to reflect.
2. As I configure Backup and fire from Jawa console the Job keeps running for 30 min approx and then fails with error 2
can any one suggest Whats Wrong here..?

Firstly - NBU does not support any version of SQL on Windows 8.
See NetBackup 7 Application/Database Agent (CL): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126904
Have you checked if Microsoft supports SQL on Windows 8?
Secondly - 2 things are needed for database agent backups:
1) Forward and reverse hostname lookup between Sql client and master. Use TECH50198 to check and verify (link above).
2) Connectivity on port 1556 between master and client in both directions. Check that port is open and that Windows firewall is disabled on master and and client.
