Are you running so called redirected restore??

If so you would need to grant access to backups made by one client to other. Easiest way to achieve this would be to create touch file named No.Restrictions in <install_dir>\NetBackup\db\altnames

@YasinKoc , In addition to altnames files on the master, check connectivity between the destination client and the master and media server.

Ensure SERVER entries exist for master and media server, double-check forward and reverse name lookup as well as port connectivity.

Create bpcd log folder on destination client to troubleshoot connection issues and dbclient log to troubleshoot db restore issues.

I created No.Restrictions file. But I have same error.

I can bet this file is having .txt extension... ;) - I can tell as I see the notepad icon next to it ;)

Please run dir against this fodler from cmd and you will see that this file name is No.Restrictions.txt

make sure the full file name is only No.Restrictions nothing else

Let me take above back - then you need to enable logging and check what is NOK - as shown in the link I provided earlier.

By touching the No.Restrictions file you have just fully opened up your NetBackup domain to allow any client to browse and restore any other clients' files from any and all prior backups.

If this was in a lab, then fair enough.

If this was in production... then I would ask... does your I.T. Security Manager need to know that you created the "No.Restrictions" file?
