Open the NetBackup Administrative Console, and from under Host Properties, select the master server.
In the Client Attributes section, confirm the Global Attributes are set to allow client browse and allow client restore.

Have you created No.Restrictions yet?

Now you're getting status 133: VxBSAQueryObject: ERR - dbc_get_string() failed 133

C:\>bperror -S 133 -r
invalid request
One of two explanations exist.
*  A request was made that is not recognized. This usually results from different versions of NetBackup software being used together.
If a client receives this error in response to a list or restore request, then the DISALLOW_CLIENT_LIST_RESTORE or DISALLOW_CLIENT_RESTORE. option exists in the bp.conf file on the following: a UNIX NetBackup server or in the registry on a Windows NetBackup server. These options deny list and restore requests from all NetBackup clients.

Try the following:

1  If you suspect that the software versions are the problem, verify that all NetBackup software is at the same version level.
   *  On UNIX NetBackup servers and clients, check the /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/version file.
   *  On Windows NetBackup servers, check the install_path\netbackup\version.txt file or the About NetBackup item on the Help menu.
   *  On Microsoft Windows clients, check the About NetBackup item on the Help menu.
   *  On NetWare target clients, check the Version entry in the bp.ini file.
   *  On Macintosh clients, check the version file in the bin folder in the NetBackup folder in the Preferences folder.
2  If the server denies list and restore requests, remove the DISALLOW_CLIENT_LIST_RESTORE and DISALLOW_CLIENT_RESTORE options from the bp.conf file on the following: a UNIX NetBackup server or from the registry on a Windows NetBackup server. Then, stop and restart the NetBackup request daemon (UNIX) or NetBackup Request Manager service (Windows).
3  For detailed troubleshooting information, create bpdbm, bprd, and admin debug log directories. Retry the operation and check the resulting debug logs.

You will need bprd log on the master server to see incoming request from client. Follow the process in the log to see if the incoming IP address is resolved correctly to client hostname. If not, you will have to treat the restore as a 'Restore to a different host'. The process is explained in NetBackup_AdminGuide_MSSQLWin.pdf (in the Veritas\docs folder on your SQL server).

Open task manager on the client and check how many instances of ' dbbackex' are still active/open -
Close the SQL agent interface first as this also creates a process.
Kill/terminate all 'dbbackex' processes and try again.

Please explain what exactly you are trying to do. Are you trying to do an alternate client restore?
I see the following in the bprd log:
hosts_equal: name1=svev0055  name2=svev0015.KEMET.COM

Are you trying to restore backups done on svev0055 to svev0015?
If so, have you created No.Restrictions on the master?

I also see the following in bprd:
process_request: client list & restore requests disallowed
This is confirmed by the STATUS 133 in the client's progress log.

Look at my previous post (a week ago) for explanation and solution of Status 133.

 Hello dear Marianne.

I try make a restore to the original sql machine but i get errors.
And yesterday i try make a restore to alternate machine and i get errors.
Yes i already create the No.Restrictions

I can make SQL database restores with other servers, but with this machine SVEV0055 i cant make restores, and when i try
make a restore to alternate server i get errors.
I cant restore any database from backuped from this machine SVEV0055

Regards,
