how can i configure ndmp(NETAPP BOX) using shared tape drive

Not possible. The only method to backup NetApp is via ndmp protocol...
We can share tape library but not tape drive, tape drive must be configure as an ndmp drive in order to backup the NetApp.

Follow on Question :
Can an NDMP tape drive (in a SAN attached tape library) be set up so that Multiple Media servers can backup to this single NDMP assigned tape device through a SAN fabric

Once you assigned a tape drive as an NDMP drive, it can ONLY be use to backup NDMP box. You can't use it to for normal backup.

I think that its is possible if ur multiple media servers can control this NDMP configured tape drive.

I got it wrong....
You cannot use the NDMP drive for Normal backups.
But you can always use it for import and restores of any type.
