Dear all ,

Can any one provide me with the difference between both the STS assessment for the partners and the exam of the certification ?
I'm working in a partner and I want to know which is better for me or do I take both exams but even if I will take both exams I want to know what are the differences between both of them

Thanks in advance :)

The essential difference is that Partner STS exams apart from being significantly cheaper count toward your companies status with Symantec. Depending on your companies level Silver, Gold etc it will have a requirement to maintain a certain number of STS, SSE and SSE+ certifications in your nominated specialisations.

As far as I have heard the content between Partner STS exams and public facing Symantec Exams is essentially the same with the same exam objectives etc

Hope that helps

Are you wondering with the difference between STS(for partner) and SCS(for users)?

Most of SCS Exam objective is administration tasks including installation, confiuration, management of NetBackup. Whereas, STS objective includes design and advanced feature of NetBackup.

You can check STS objective in PartnetNet. Also can check SCS objective in symantec.com.
