Safe to delete Maintenance Pack uninstall files?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Under
/usr/openv/pack

there are subfolders of previous Maintenance pack uninstall files.

As Laurence Olivier (former netbackup guru) once famously said

Q: Is it safe to delete these?

(I would look to keep the NB_60_4* uninstall files as that is the current version I run)
See below.

#/usr/openv/pack> du -kx
26503   ./NB_CLT_60_2_M/save
26511   ./NB_CLT_60_2_M
302311  ./NB_60_2_M/save

I do not keep them. I delete them after a couple of months.

Back 'em up to tape, if you want to, before removing them.

Thanks Bob,

I'll take your word as the gospel, and true I do have these backed up anyway.

Bye Bye files.

(Here's 10 points but I dont know how to gift you them in this new board!)

Thanks for the points. I redeemed them for a cup of java :)

Isn't it amazing how many "helpful" forum participants vanished when the points system went away? I anticipate that the STN will once again get some sort of recognition setup for the forum. In the meantime, I'm still here and active.
