NB version- 7.5.0.4
Master Server- Win08
Client - Linux
I have calender schedule for a client to ran at 11:40:00 PM
Schedule detail for full backup-
Start Day- Fri - 11:40 PM
End Day Sat- 01:40 AM
So backup starting at 11:40 Pm and completeding at 11:41:30 PM, i see again job is auto starting at 12:00:00 AM just after 20 min.
Retries after run day is not enabled.
I see this for all client under this policy.
Can you corrent where i am wrong, why this job running twice?
I see there is bug in 7.5.03 but this is resolved in 7.5.04.

I would recommend updating to latest release. I'm not seeing this problem with calendar schedules that span midnight.

Like Marianne requested, I would like to see the policy config. You metioned that it completes, so I assume that it finishes with a status 0?
The bug was if "Allow multiple datastreams" is enabled, a single stream spanning midnight will trigger all streams to re-run. Just curious, do you have Allow multiple datastreams enabled?

Odd - I just set this up on a test server :
I selected the calendar day of the 17th, and opened the window from just befoe to just after midnight.
On 7.6 - the backup only ran once.

How is this related to schedule running twice?
You have still not given us enough info to understand why the schedule was running twice...

The problem is in your initial post:
I have calender schedule for a client to ran at 11:40:00 PM
Schedule detail for full backup-
Start Day- Fri - 11:40 PM
End Day Sat- 01:40 AM
Not sure which days you have selected but when using calendar scheduling you cannot cross midnight because Friday and Saturday are two different days .. so the behavoir is as expected .. runs on Friday at 11.40 and also runs on Saturday at midnight (when Saturday begins)
You need to run from say 00:10 to 02:00 (and then select Saturdays only)
Hope that makes sense and helps
