Recently my Netbackup master/media server crashed, forcing me to rebuild the server, OS and all. After installing NB, I was able to recover my catalogue using the standard method explained in the email generated by the catalog backups. It worked like a charm. The only oddity I have found is, scheduled jobs are not starting. If I run them manually, they work and if I adjust their schedule, they will fire off automatically.
My question, is this normal for a catalogue recover? Will I need to "touch" each policy schedule to get them back on schedule?

You never mentioned your NBU version?
'Older' versions of NBU was notorious for nbpem 'misbehaving'...
Try 'nbpemreq -updatepolicies' followed by 'nbpemreq -predict_all -date <mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM:SS> ' to see what the scheduler predicts.

Check the policy's - there is a "Active. Go into effect at:" option. If the time is in the future the backup will not fire off automatic.
Change the date to a time in the past and check mark "Active".

I checked the option. They all have dates far in the past.

I am running 6.5.6, I don't see the binaries you are referring to.

Sorry, found them.

After performing a catalog recovery. You need to stop and restart all Netbackup services.
