Hi,

I am getting the following error when taking a full backup oracle database from solaris 10 client "ERR - Server exited with status 240: no schedules of the correct type exist in this policy".

The bkp-server,and the oracle server os is solaris 10.

I am attaching the error stack below

Any help would be highly appreciated

Many Thanks in advance

Ushas Symon

Hi ushas,

1. did you perform oracle_link script or libobk.so linked?

2. Is NB_ORA_SCHED parameter (in rman script or oracle template)  Default-Application-Backup?

3. let's confirm clientname, such as bp.conf, client name in the policy, and rman script(or template).

Cheers.
