Thrown in the deep end with a couple of 5020 appliances, and I need to setup replication between the two on a single NBU domain (WINDOWS 7.1.0.3)
I've been able to find plenty of doco on setting up the Appliance itself, but can't find any on setting up the NetBackup side of things?
Can anyone please comment on the process I think I need to follow? I might be way off the mark.
1. Configure both appliances as seperate all-in-one storage pools (bit confused here.... do I need a SPA? Or both SPAs?)
2. Create two new storage servers (selecting the master server? in the 'media server' dropdown box)
3. Create the two new diskpools
4. Create the two new Storage Units
5. Create an SLP which duplicates data from one STU to the other
Surely I'm missing some steps here, any help would be hugely appreciated!
