For quite some times now, I am trying to setup the new malware scanning using Veritas own Alvira Scanner on a Linux host.
So far, absolutely no chance to be successful. There's simply not enough information in the documentation on how it should be done to make it work. Support was not yet successful to help out.
Is there any how-to-guide/step-by-step guide available that talks about ?
- non-root user logins ? rights needed? sudo? permissions of directories (access of nfs shares) ? logfiles ? etc.
It would be very helpful...
