It is really a small thing. As you all know window2008 is more secure :)

When I initiated the Backup and Restore Application with RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR option the restore went successfully.

Thanks everyone for given valuable time.

Hi Mohanty
If this is urgent, best if you log a Severity 2 call with Symantec Support (not Sev 1 as your system is not down).
They will probably request a Webex session which will cut down troubleshooting time.

bpcd log does not help in this case as your problem is not with connectivity - it's with resource allocation.
The logs that will probably help here, are bprd (to see details of restore job) and nbrb (using vxlogview to extract info) to see what the problem is with resource allocation.

Any one else is having any idea??

Look in the Activity monitor and give us the job details.  That will have the error code.

Another thing to look at is the <install path>/Veritas\NetBackup\logs\beds directory on the front-end web server for log files during the time of the restore.  These logs are usually very useful in providing information about any sharepoint issues.

He actually did.... See the original post:

5/25/2010 2:04:09 PM - Info nbjm(pid=3156) NBU status: 800, EMM status: Fibre Transport resources are not available

here....look at this doc:  http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/309239.htm

When I check Symantec recommendation for this status it says
"Try the following:
None."
 indecision

the document that I referenced mentions a specific solution for the message
"NBU status: 800, EMM status: Fibre Transport resources are not available "

and that is

"Final solution:
-- Set Fibre Transport to Never in master server host properties"
